The course is designed to catalyse real change in individuals’ life by equipping them to understand and develop their influential leadership capacity. Influential Leadership for Public & Corporate Leaders is designed to catalyse real change in individual’s life by equipping them to understand and develop their influential leadership capacity. The programme sets out a powerful leadership experience, increasing self-awareness and innovative principles of leadership.

I. Introduction to Influential Leadership
This topic will explore:

• Leadership Starts with YOU • Principles of Influence • Characteristics of an Influential Leader • Personal commitment to influential leadership Expected Outcome: By the end of this topic, participants should be able to understand that when a leader is not prepared to lead, he/she must be prepared to fail. They will be aware of their strengths and weaknesses and be able to adjust accordingly. They will be expected to make personal commitment to influence their environment.

II. Leadership Excellence
This topic will cover:

• Achieving goals • Dealing with difficult circumstances • Collaboration with others • Leader as the best project Manager Expected Outcome: By the end of the session, delegates will increase their abilities to be able to perform under demanding circumstances while inspiring others.

III. Visionary Leadership
This topic will cover:

• Fundamental principles of leaving a legacy • Sacrificial leadership • Being an Agent of Change • Mind-set transformation Expected Outcome: By the end of this topic, participants should be able to understand that It will take the willingness of a leader to sacrifice some of his/her personal dreams for a cause greater than themselves, cause that would bring hope to others.

Methodology

This 8-hour programme is packed with lots of practical work, current issues, case studies and interactions amongst delegates. Sessions will be very interactive and participatory at all times, to insure knowledge exchange. The facilitators will then summarize all the learning points and recommendations. There will not be formal tests; however the sessions will include lots of individual and group assignments as well as individual and Group presentations.
